Megan Domine, of Mahtomedi Receives Scholarship From The University Of Minnesota, Morris

Megan Domine, of Mahtomedi is one of many students to receive scholarships from the University of Minnesota, Morris for the 2012–13 academic year. Domine is the recipient of the Kate McCoy Kaufman Scholarship.

These awards are given by the late Dr. Edward J. Kaufman and Dr. Dorothybelle McCree Kaufman of Appleton, in memory of their parents. The A. Amos McCree Scholarship to a student majoring in mathematics; the Andrew J. Kaufman Scholarship to a student majoring in the natural sciences; the Kate McCoy Kaufman Scholarship to a student majoring in elementary education; and the Alice Mills McCree Scholarship to a theatre arts major. Students must demonstrate academic excellence and potential in their respective fields.

Domine, will graduate from Morris in 2013 with a degree in Elementary Education.

More than 220 donors, scholarship recipients and family members attended the annual Scholarship Jubilee on November 17, a celebration to honor Morris's generous scholarship donors and talented scholarship recipients.
