The University of Minnesota, Morris women's cross country wrapped up a successful season with a runner-up finish at the 2010 Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Championship meet.

The Cougar women tallied 69 total points, behind only champion St. Scholastica, which had just 27. In the six-meter course, the Cougars had three top-fifteen finishers.

Christine Hoffman, Alexandria, and the Cougars opened the season with a fourth place finish at the St. John's Invite, beating four UMAC opponents in the process. In their next race, the Roy Griak Invite on the University of Minnesota Campus-the largest such event in the country-the Cougars placed 22nd and were the second-highest placing UMAC team. The Cougars closed the season by placing fifth at the Jimmie Invite and third at the Storm Invite.

The Cougars' wrapped up their season after the UMAC Championship meet with the Fall Finale and the NCAA Regionals.

Hoffman out of Jefferson High School, wrapped up her freshman season in 2010.
